Group Tahitian Dance Class ~ All Levels ~ Variations of Fa'arapu
This 35 min class touches on a very short warm up and spends a lot of time going over the differences of Fa'arapu. This class focuses on the importance of using the Omi to use as a basis and then to increase speed without compromising range of motion. We then touch on a different style of Fa'arapu where a back extension is used a bit more instead of an all around range of motion to create a round pattern with your hips but only in the back. This video also comes with a short Ote'a Choreography that is great for beginners. This short choreography drill can be used in your Tahitian Dance practice.
