Egyptian Dance Intermediate Level by Joana Saahirah of Cairo - Class No. 9
Intense, passionate class filled with technique and tips on how to use the music and our bodies to communicate instead of trying to impress; how to tell a story; bases of Interpretation for dancers.
We started with a fun warm up, followed by the last part of our "Youm el Wadah"(song by George Wassouf) choreography. Full choreography, with the new part added today, on display. Creative challenge thrown at dancers: let them choreograph the last part of the music and send me the result for personal feed-back (bonus feature).
