The Pilates Mat Class consists of exercises done on the floor to strengthen the core muscles, and increase flexibility by using your own body for resistance. We will learn the essential Pilates principles to reach our fitness goals: Awareness, Balance, Breathing, Concentration, Centering, Control, Efficiency, Flow, Precision, and Relaxation. The goal of this class is to revitalize and relax as you get stronger and fit.

Welcome to Zero Stress Pilates! My name is Lizabeth Marquez, I am a certified Pilates Mat instructor. Our studio was created with you in mind who struggle daily with physical and mental stress. Pilates' exercises are a great way to strengthen the body, gain flexibility, improve posture and in particular, these exercises provide a sense of relaxation for the body and mind. For five years I suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with chronic stress. I found Pilates to be an excellent tool to de-stress and eliminate fatigue. I follow the sequence developed by Joseph Pilates as I create different routines with modifications that adapt to every fitness level. In Pilates, breathing is very important as proper oxygenation of the body contributes to relaxation. We will learn the proper breathing for doing the exercises effectively. Our goal is that at the end of every workout you feel revitalized and relaxed. And for our dear Spanish speaking clients, we also offer Pilates Mat classes in Spanish!

¡Bienvenidos a Zero Stress Pilates! Mi nombre es Lizabeth Marquez; soy una instructora certificada de Pilates Mat. Nuestro estudio fue creado pensando en Ud. que enfrenta diariamente el estrés físico y mental. Los ejercicios de Pilates son una excelente manera de fortalecer el cuerpo, ganar flexibilidad, mejorar la postura y, en particular, estos ejercicios proporcionan una sensación de relajación para el cuerpo y la mente. Durante cinco años sufrí del Síndrome de Fatiga Crónica con estrés crónico. Encontré en Pilates una excelente herramienta para eliminar el estrés y eliminar la fatiga.
