SMARTer Bodies webcam fitness sessions and video are performed by our apprentices Abby Kaufmann and Marcus Hudnell.
Abby Kaufmann - Her combination of personal experience and education created a theme in Abby’s teaching in which safety and a fully immersed experience are paramount. Not your typical 20 something yoga teacher, her students benefit from a maturity that was forged in the crucible of challenging life experiences. She teaches forgiveness for the self while offering a practice that is challenging and interesting.
Marcus Hudnell - Heavily involved in sports and athletics for the better part of 25 years, Marcus developed an appreciation and fascination with the human body. Combined with an educational background deeply rooted in anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, Marcus has a genuine love for fitness and a passion for helping others reach their goals, “‘Health’ and ‘Fitness’ are terms that apply to both the physical and mental/spiritual nature of a person."
Melissa Gutierrez - Because of her extensive training and non-judgmental attitude she is considered an expert in creating movement patterns that help clients release physically, emotionally and mentally to create extraordinary results. Using her background in Psychology, she further facilitates the mind/body connection, so that a client’s understanding of how the internal self shows up in the external world is made clear.
""The most exciting thing about SMARTer Bodies is their no-nonsense attitude. SMARTer Bodies is just what the world of personal training needs: honest, science-based, and real.""
""SMARTer Bodies is extremely knowledgeable about the physiology of the injuries that I sustained and how to adapt my yoga practice to ensure it was safe."
"Their knowledge of the human body allows all of thier students to practice safely and effectively. I accomplish something new in every single class Kim teaches! She creates a judgement free environment that lets me explore the possibilities of my practice, and her intuitive knowledge of the human body allows all of her students to practice safely and effectively. her hands on approach to teaching is fun and challenging in a ‘hurts so good’ kind of way "
