Basketball Training: What Works, and Why
The most oft-asked (and simplest) question I've been asked over the last 6 years, simply stated: "How can I get better?" We all know the answer to that: Work On Your Game. But how? How should you practice, how much, what drills, what shots, how long? And what do you do, Dre? Since you've been watching me practice on YouTube already, this class will cover what you're doing, in an intimate setting (up to 4 class members) in which there will be full back-and-forth interaction with me, Dre Baldwin. I'll share some information on how I practice, how I decide what to work on, why, and what I practice. More importantly, we will get into what you are doing training-wise, what results you're seeing (or not seeing), and I will tell you, specifically, how what you're doing can be improved. Class Structure: - I will start by covering my basic principles of individual basketball training -- what works, what doesn't, why, and how - This is an interactive class -- you get enough lectures in school; here you get to talk back to me. - This class is like a small group basketball consultation -- you will hear from me and learn from the other class members' questions and my responses to them.

Basketball Ball Handling For Beginners (>2 Years Experience)
Every player, no matter what size or position, will make use of ball handling skills. I have played with players that are not big or athletic, and don't score much, but are valuable to the team because they can take care of the ball and get it where it needs to be, every time. Does that sound like a skill you want to have? Then join this class. What Is Covered: - Basic ball handling drills: which ones, how much/how long? - What you need to become a solid ball handler, and what you don't need - A simple, effective program for you to follow daily Class Structure: - I will spend ~15 minutes discussing the importance and use of solid ball handling skills, and 10 minutes pointing out specific drills of mine you can find on YouTube for you to apply and add to your workouts. - The remainder of class will be an interactive Q & A session where attendees can ask questions and have them answered by me for everyone else in class to hear. - I will prescribe a ball handling program for all students to follow on their own for improvement. This program comes from what I did myself to become a better ball handler.

Let's Fix Your Basketball Game! One-On-One Consultation
You: Play basketball, and have a strong desire to improve. You have questions about what to work on, how to work on it, how long to work on it, and why you're doing it. You are willing to do the work, but just need a little help from someone that knows the game and can show you what to do, so you can get to work, the right way. Me: I have the knowledge & experience, the answers to your questions, and a customized plan that you will follow to get the results you need. Consultation Structure: - This is an interactive one-on-one class between you and me, where we will cover every area of your game that you have questions or issues about. We can share video links (though you should check if your computer can handle playing YouTube videos while live-streaming our consultation), I will tell you about my workouts (what has worked for me and what hasn't, and how it can apply to you), and we will create a plan of action made specifically for you. If you've never had a basketball trainer and no one around you to help you get your game to where you want it, today is the day to turn the odds in your favor.
