"Daniel Rama, I had been to a few yoga classes and was always wondering if I was doing the poses correctly and one day just gave up, as the instructors didn't seem to notice. I am so grateful that you came kindly recommended to me. You took me from a complete beginner who was too insecure to attend any in-studio class, to a yogi able to participate in any yoga class - beginner or not. You educated me and kindly brought me to a realization that Meditation and Yoga are the perfect combination for my busy life. I compliment you on your patients with me, and your knowledge to know exactly where my limits were. I would recommend you to the beginner and the advanced when it comes to yoga, as you truly are an expert in your profession. I will be forever grateful to have had you as my yogi. Practice is what it is and practice is what I will continue to do. "
"I am currently 54 years old male married and father of 5 and grandfather of 1. During and after college I was an athlete and ranked in high jumping as one of the top 10 high jumpers in the United States going 7' 3 1/4". In November of 2014 I was dignosed with impinged nerves and degenerative disks in several parts of my spine. This condition caused me great pain at all times and robbed of my strength in my right arm and right leg. Prior to this time I consistently went to yoga daily and many times twice a day. My condition brought all that to a stop as I had to move so slowly group classes just didn't work. Walking up stairs was hard and at my lowest point lifting a 2/1/2 pound dumbbell was impossible with my right arm. During a random Youtube search just looking online one day I found Daniel Rama. The fluidity of his practice and the progression of the video sequences he had posted are unique. I emailed Daniel and asked if he would give me private lessons via Skype with my goal being that within a 4 months being able to do a free standing handstand. My progress was slow and frankly as an past athlete emotionally very hard for me to accept that I couldn't easily do the things I had done in the past. Daniel slowly helped me to build up my strength again with unique diverse physical exercises and perhaps most important reminded me often that daily progresss no matter how slow was important. I highly recomend Daniel no matter the expience level for anyone interested in deepeing their yoga, handstand or arm balance practice."
